1. Remove the OCULAR LENS COVERS and the OBJECTIVE LENS COVERS from your binocular.

2. Extend/retract the EYE CUPS around the OCULAR LENSES as needed to ensure a full field of view –even if you wear eyeglasses.

3. Set IPD (Interpupillary Distance).
• Look through the binocular.
• Adjust to the appropriate IPD by grasping the lens BARRELS (C) and “bending” the body of your binocular until you can see one complete, round circle of vision.

4. Look through the binocular and pick out a mid to long distance, stationary visual target.

5. First, focus for only your left eyefirst by either closing your right eye or by covering the RIGHT OBJECTIVE LENS(preferred). You can utilize one of the OBJECTIVE LENS COVERS for this step.

6. Bring viewed object into focus by slowly rotating the CENTER FOCUS until you have a clear image. You’ve now focused for your left eye.

7. Next, focus for your right eye by either closing your left eye or by covering the LEFT OBJECTIVE LENS (preferred).

8. Rotate the DIOPTER (F)only to focus for your right eye. Do not adjust the center focus at all in this step. Adjust only the DIOPTER until you have the sharpest image possible.
