Can ROXANT PRO VIDEO CAMERA STABILIZER be mounted on bicycle handle bars?
It wouldn’t make much sense. For that application you’d want something motorized.
Where can I find a spare nut for the handle of the midnight black edition?
Write to support@roxant.com and include your Amazon order#
I’m not sure what you mean by spare nut? did something break off?
This stabilizer is just great. I bought it thru amazon and I didn’t really think it was going to be as good. It is very helpful when working in small projects.
Hi Roxant Team,
Can a Hero GoPro Session 4 be mounted on the Roxant ? Would it work with it ? Just curious because of the lightweight of the Session.
Thanks in advance.
You would most certainly only need the smallest of the 3 weights. Some Gopro users decide to use a few washers instead of the weights.
I seem to be getting a bit of rocking left to right no matter what I do.
Typically that means you’re using too much weight. You can also try shortening the arm. But it really depends on what type of camera you’re using. You might try emailing support@roxant.com
Amazon says product is currently unavailable, when will you be back in stock?
We have some on the way now.
hey, i have a nikon d5600 which ways in at 2lb but thats without the lens attached and with a lens like 85mm 1.4g (2.5lb) mounted on the body be a problems even if i buy or add more weights. basically totaling up to a 5lb load.
5 lb load on a C shape compressor is a bit much. The angle on your arm would be very uncomfortable.
Sure you could add weights to compensate, but it would still be an uphill battle.
Some customers add washers on the handle level of the unit.
if you added washers or weights to the bottom of the unit, you would need to replace the screw since it is only designed for the supplied weights.
For a heavy camera and lens I would probably recommend a straight style stabilizer. Something like this:

When will it be available from amazon?
In a few days or a few weeks?
I’m asking because I need it for a project, otherwise I have to buy something else.
There is a new shipment on the way to Amazon right now.
I really want to buy this product, but it’s all sold out on Amazon :(. Is there anywhere that I can still buy it?
There is a new shipment on the way right now.
I just opened my box. I am going to chase Canadian geese and stray cats. Video will be up soon. LOL
Hi, is this available to buy anywhere in the uk? There are very similar items on Amazon UK, such as the polaroid but was hoping to get an officail Roxant version.
Cheers
Currently we only sell in the U.S. Through Amazon, although you might be able to pick up one our our refurbished units through Ebay’s global shipping program. Just make sure the seller is ROXANT. I’m not familiar with the Polaroid.
My stabalizer keeps tilting my camera to the right instead of flat. How do I fix this
Here is list of all the tutorial videos. These should help: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_vx5SSD26YPJEStw0U_wKN8rOKG45MiQ
Is the Midnight version compatible with quick release system? Which quick release would you recommend?
yes it is. We don’t sell any, so I don’t really have any recommendations. But there are several available on Amazon.
Hi,
I recently purchased the Roxant Pro midnight edition and I absolutely love it! I made a short video review/tutorial using it with my Sony a6000! I highly recommend this stabilizer!

Are you expecting a new supply to be available on Amazon soon?
Yes we are shipping some to them at the end of the week.
Do you have any factory seconds or damaged packaged discounted models of the Roxant Stabilizer Pro? I’m on a severe budget!
Currently we do not. Sometimes we list them on EBAY, but if you check on EBAY, make sure the seller is actually us “ROXANT” otherwise you’ll probably be buying a knock-off version.
Do you have a stabilizer that can be used with a Samsung Smartphone?
This unit may be a bit heavy for use with a smartphone, but it will work. You’ll need a smartphone adapter.
Hi, does the stabilizer rust if it gets wet (with seawater) or is it all in rustproof material?
Hi Stefano, Thanks for writing. The stabilizer is made of aluminum. Aluminum corrodes but it does not rust. Rust refers only to iron and steel corrosion. Aluminum is actually very prone to corrosion. However, aluminum corrosion is aluminum oxide, a very hard material that actually protects the aluminum from further corrosion. But it’s probably not a good idea to put your camera gear near seawater anyway.
Are you expecting to restock the Midnight Black Edition? Or is it gone forever?
Hi there! I’ll likely contact support@roxant.com, but i just bought the limited edition midnight stabilizer and noticed that my weights are all different sizes. Or at least i have two that are the same, and one smaller. Everywhere i look, they are equally distributed—did i get duped with a fake or is this an update?
I’m working to figure out how to balance my Nikon D5100, but this is actually worrying me a bit.
Thank you!
What is the difference between the red and black versions? I see listings for both and some comments saying the black version has a better/longer handle.
The only difference is the color and the handle. The black version comes with a low profile handle… which is smaller.(better for small cameras) tHe red unit comes with a larger handle, (best for heavier cameras) But, no matter which version you order, we’ll take care of you. Just write us with your order number and we’ll send you handle you don’t have free of charge.
Can I fix mobile phone on this… Please help me
Yes. The new units at amazon should come with a phone adapter.
Hi, I just got my stabilizer. It seems to be working well now that I am getting more skilled with it. I was just curious about where I can buy a more comfortable and larger fulcrum/grip?
Hi Ryan, email us a support@roxant.com with your order information and we’ll try our best to take care of you.
Sean – Roxant Customer Support
My Canon with the lens is 2.4lb. I see the max is 2.1. Is it possible to add additional weights to account for the additional weight of my camera or should I be looking for something else? Thanks!
You can certainly add weights. Many customers do just that. The best idea would be to add washers. Watch out tutorial videos here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_vx5SSD26YPJEStw0U_wKN8rOKG45MiQ They will give you an idea of what’s possible.
Excellent setup videos – it took maybe 10-15 minutes stabilize an iPhone SE on the Roxant Pro, using a simple bracket ordered on Amazon. Looking forward to having fun with the phone and the Fujifilm X-T20. Thanks for being customer-friendly with support.
Will it work for the New ZOOM Q8 A/V Recorder?
as long as your gear is under 2.1 lbs you should be fine
Hello,
do you sell them separetly?
I bought Roxant pro video stabilizer in March from Amazon, it is great stabilizer i tried it with my iPhone x, Sony LG lens camera, and with my Canon 5D mark iv. Yesterday i was on a shouting journey in nature I lost 2 weights
email our support team at support@roxant.com along with your order number. We’ll take care of you. Sean
Will you ever offer these on Amazon.ca in Canada?
Yes, they will be available in early to mid 2020
I think there’s a part missing from the ball joint, as the ball moves up and down within the socket, and the position lock is ineffective.
Hi Elijah,
That sounds very strange. Not normal at all. Did you get this unit from Amazon? And are you certain it’s one of ours? Sometimes Amazon does goofy things. They have been known to send out damaged items. Don’t worry, if it’s one of ours, we can certainly take care of you. Please send me your AMAZON order # so I can look it up and see which unit you have. Email us at support@roxant.com Thanks, Sean
Hello! I just bought my daughter the handheld stabilizer and within a day our dog chewed the handle. Ugh. Is it possible to buy replacement handles only? Thank you!
We sent you a replacement
If I use this stabilizer can I be Advised on how can I use a LED monitor, LED lights and mic on it please
Depending on the weight of your camera, all that additional gear may be too heavy for the unit.
All that equipment may be too much weight for this unit. Please keep in mind, the unit is meant to handle up to 2.1 lbs.
My handle won’t screw into the nut that it’s supposed to. It appears that the nut isn’t threaded on the inside. Is there a way to order just the extra nut to replace this?
Hi Zach, write us a support@roxant.com along with your order number. If there is a problem, we’ll take care of you.
Is it possible to use this as a front-facing stabilizer, like for vlogging?
Yes. You can face it either way.
Hi,
I have Panasonic camcorder V385 and would like to use shooting my grand’s snowboarding. Would this stabiliser work while using zooming to max? If not what would you suggest?
Thanks,
Ravi
Hi Ravi,
It’s never a good idea to use a stabilizer with zoom. It magnifies all movement.
