  • Store your ROXANT Blackbird  with lens caps on the unit.  Use the included case and store in a safe, dry place, —  to ensure that the scope is covered and protected from dust.
  • Avoid touching the lenses with fingers as the salt and oils contained on the skin could damage the lenses.
  • To clean the lenses, use the provided lens cloth or a soft lint-free cloth.  Wipe from the center outward.  To remove and remaining dirt or smudges, add one or two drops of isopropyl alcohol to the cloth.
  • To clean the body parts, use a soft damp cloth and mild soap if necessary.  Do not submerge or use excessive water/soap as you may damage the unit.
  • Avoid banging or dropping the scope.
  • Do not dismantle the scope.

We love this spotting scope! We are delighted with the solid quality and attention to detail that went into building this tool that we will be using in concert with a laser range finder. We are going to be hunting pronghorn antelope in Wyoming. Long shots and accurate sighting and distance determination are essential to a successful hunt. The same will hold true during our mule deer and elk hunting trips.

Thank you for putting so much attention to detail into this scope! It’s small compact size is of great benefit when traversing long distances over difficult terain.

I love the size and weight of your scope my family all hunt and enjoy outdoors now I am spotting deer and geese on our Sunday night rides I bought a window mount. I am very happy with how easy it is to use and would recommend it to my friends

  3. Dan Rynard says:

Light weight, put in backpack, off to the range. Great for zero in my rifle and son in laws rifles. Seems I make new friends when I go to the range, people comments on the price I paid for it and always ask to view it for them self’s, you would think I won a million bucks by the aim being treated.

This is a very nice little unit. It is small, but that’s what I wanted. Fits nicely in my gun bag. Purchased it for and will be using it mostly at the range. It feels well built and solid. Optics are nice and clear. Focus and zoom are smooth. I like the rubber housing. And the bag that comes with it, though not padded, will keep it from getting scratched up. I also prefer the metal tripod. Just feels more substantial. Very pleased with my purchase.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He is delighted with it. It is a high quality product and a good price. We are living on a farm and using it to spot and photograph the wildlife around us. Will be taking it hiking. The tripod works good and is also a good quality product, metal, not plastic. I’m thinking of buying one as a gift for my brother. Thanks for your followup email, Shows that your company really cares about quality customer care.

  6. Nancy Sallé says:

This is my first spotter and I am very pleased, I will be using it to view wildlife out our back window. I have a nice pair of Canon binoculars and the field of vision is just as clear. I thought it might be heavier, but honestly, being new to this it’s better being lighter. I plan on introducing our growing number of grandchildren to this unit, I would have loved it when I was a kid. It was super easy to figure out without the instructions, the focus ring is nice and smooth and I really like the casing. I like that the tripod is metal, thinking, if it takes a tumble it might hold up better. I’ll be showing this to our son in law, who is a hunter; I’ll let him try it out and give me his two cents. Overall, I would definitely give this as a gift and imagine it to be another thing to share with my grandkids.

  7. Gary GRANATO says:

I bought this scope primarily to use at the gun range. I was very impressed with the size the weight and the quality of the scope. The only problem that I see is that there is no provision for the tripod to be carried or attached to the case for the scope. That would be a tremendous Plus if you could carry the tripod along with the scope to the range. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase

  8. Wayne Otto says:

I was looking for a spotting scope to view nature out at a park I go to each day, and I am so happy I purchased this spotting scope. Both my wife and I really love this scope. So easy to use and the viewing results are excellent.

  9. Greg says:

I really like the clarity and ease of viewing ! This is my first scope and I think I made a great choice so far. I applaud Roxant in going the extra mile too serve a large segment of people who can’t afford the more expensive ones, yet are very cognizant of wanting a high quality product. Thank you.

  12. Richard says:

Am happy with with my new scope. The clarity of vision is comparable to my quality binoculars. It has a stable metal tripod
that is much better than the plastic ones I’ve used. The size is more compact than I had imagined, and the attached lens
caps are a real bonus. The focus ring is large and easy to use, although initially a bit stiff to turn, it is now nice and smooth.
I recommend this spotting scope to anyone wanting to purchase a quality product at a great price.

  13. Larry Paguio says:

This spotting scope will really surprise and amaze you. I was skeptical when I saw this on Amazon. I thought I’ll try it out and to my surprise the glass is so clear considering the price. I’ve tested a bunch of high end scopes at Cabelas and I’m no expert but this scope can stand up to some of the higher end scopes. Thanks for a great product Roxant.

  14. Orlando Garcia says:

Bought this scope as an Xmas gift for my niece who is an avid bird watcher. I got a good look at scope after she opened her gift. Was very impressed with the quality feel and function of the scope. Both the zoom and focus adjustments are smooth yet easy to turn. What most impressed me was the quality of the optics in such a small package. Images were crisp and clear at full power all the way out to the edge of the glass. I’m an avid shooter and plan on buying one for myself to use at the range. This scope will take up very little room in my shooting bag and the optical quality should easily allow me to see bullet holes at 200 yds, no problem. Oh, and my niece loved it!…thanks for offering such a good scope at a great price!
